Serial Numbers

Just like in batches, there may be certain items wherein each one of those items will have their own serial number. This is useful because you can track each one of those items by their serial numbers. By maintaining products with serial numbers you can see who you purchased it from or sold it to.

So when you purchase or sell this item later on, a window will pop up asking for the serial number details.

Then click the new serial number button and make a new serial number. You can provide the expiry date and manufacturing date of this item here as well.

Here you can see the transactions that are linked to a particular item’s serial number.
